Be transfixed by the past
Queens with Means is a brand new cinematic experience which gives back the voices of our seven historic queens. Experience historic England from a new perspective as we reveal these seven queens’ true stories in their own voices, including Katherine of Aragon.
While the queens hold court in the Gatehouse, the latest video-mapping technology and unique lighting, sound and visual effects have been used to create a compelling and empathic journey. Watch them step out of the shadows of history.
Take the first step on an epic journey
The experience will last approximately 7 minutes. Next, guests will be invited to delve into the history of the Castle, before they experience Lady Baillie’s 1930s country house retreat, one of the most glamorous events in Kent available now.
